Stunning Bathroom Renovation in Aireys Inlet
At PB Builds, we recently had the pleasure of completing a comprehensive bathroom renovation in a charming holiday home located in Aireys Inlet, Victoria. This project was multi-faceted, where we transformed a large, underutilised laundry and reconfigured other areas to create a modern, functional, and aesthetically pleasing space. As the property is often rented out as a holiday home, the design needed to cater to both the homeowners and their guests, ensuring a perfect balance between luxury, practicality, and ease of use.
The first major task in this renovation was converting a spacious laundry into a brand-new bathroom. The new bathroom features a large, level-entry shower, which is ideal for people of all ages and abilities. This type of shower not only enhances accessibility but also creates a sleek, open look, making the room feel larger and more inviting. Complementing the shower is a beautiful timber floating vanity that adds a natural, warm feel to the space. The vanity offers ample storage while keeping the area looking clean and uncluttered. Along with the shower and vanity, we installed a modern, stylish toilet to complete the bathroom’s functionality.

Premier Transformation
In addition to the new bathroom, we reconfigured an existing separate toilet and bathroom. This reconfiguration allowed us to create a second functional bathroom, this time with a luxurious bath, another level-entry shower, and a smaller timber vanity. The bath adds a touch of relaxation, perfect for a holiday home where guests or homeowners may want to unwind after a day at the beach. The combination of timber accents with modern fixtures gave the bathroom a contemporary yet warm and inviting atmosphere, perfectly suited to the coastal charm of Aireys Inlet.
One of the challenges we addressed was maximising the available space. The separate toilet, previously detached from the main bathroom, was reconfigured to create enough room for a European laundry. By discreetly concealing the laundry behind doors in the hallway, we ensured that the space remained functional without taking away from the overall aesthetic of the home. The hidden laundry is both practical and stylish, making it a great addition to the home, especially since it’s used as a rental property, where guests may need access to laundry facilities without the area being in plain sight.
