Phil Brooks — Director & Registered Builder
Phil founded PB Builds with a clear mission: to create a building company that delivers high-quality renovations and home modifications with integrity and precision. With over 15 years of hands-on experience in the building industry, he leads the team with a strong focus on craftsmanship, compliance, and client satisfaction.
Phil works closely with clients, occupational therapists, and trades to ensure every detail is handled with care , from the first consultation to the final handover. His approachable nature and commitment to doing things properly have shaped PB Builds into a trusted name for renovations and accessible building solutions.
When he’s not managing projects, you’ll find Phil spending time with his family or getting away camping, fishing or surfing.
Rob Weston — Project Manager
With years of experience overseeing residential renovations and home modification projects, Rob is the glue that keeps everything running smoothly. He’s the go-to person on site, coordinating trades, solving problems on the spot, and ensuring every project stays on track and up to PB Builds’ high standards.
Clients love Rob’s down-to-earth communication style and practical approach to challenges. His calm, reliable manner gives homeowners confidence that every detail — big or small — is under control.
Outside of work, Rob enjoys time with his family, camping trips, and a good weekend barbecue.
Alex Roberts — Renovation Consultant
Alex is the first point of contact for clients starting their renovation with PB Builds. Drawing on his years in construction and project management, he helps clients move confidently from ideas to clear, buildable plans.
He’s known for his calm, straightforward approach and focus on making the process simple, transparent and enjoyable. Working closely with Phil and the team, Alex ensures every project reflects PB Builds’ standards for quality workmanship and genuine care.
Away from work, Alex spends his time with family and enjoying the coastal lifestyle.
Klaresse V— Administrative Assistant
Klaresse helps with the day-to-day work in the PB Builds office, keeping everything organised behind the scenes. From scheduling site visits to assisting with quotes, project management and client communication, she ensures the process runs smoothly for both the team and clients. She supports different parts of the workflow and helps the team stay on track with what needs to be done.
Outside of work, she enjoys quiet time with family and watching her favorite shows.
Karla DL— Finance Assistant
Karla brings energy and organisation to the PB Builds team. She assists with documentation, invoicing, social media management, and project coordination, ensuring clients are kept informed and the team has everything they need to deliver great results. Her approachable nature and dedication to helping others make her an essential part of PB Builds’ friendly and efficient culture.
When she’s not in the office, Karla enjoys listening to calming music, travelling, and spending quality time with family and friends.
Francis Parado — Draftsman & Estimator
Francis combines technical expertise with a creative eye for design. He prepares detailed plans, 3D visuals, and cost estimates that help clients clearly understand what their renovation will look like and how it will come together.
His experience in drafting and building science ensures every design is not only beautiful but practical, functional, and compliant with Australian standards. Francis also plays a key role in ensuring accuracy and efficiency during the quoting process.
Outside of work, Francis enjoys travelling, exploring architecture, and diving into books on design, business, and personal development.
Rob Sodomaco — Apprentice Carpenter
As PB Builds’ apprentice carpenter, Rob brings enthusiasm and a strong work ethic to every project. He’s passionate about learning the trade and gaining experience from the team’s senior builders and tradespeople.
Rob is quickly developing into a capable and reliable part of the team, always ready to lend a hand and keen to see clients happy with the finished result.
Outside of work, he enjoys cricket, golf, and spending time with his partner and dog.
