A Recent Project Near Corio: Lara Bathroom With Hidden Water Damage
The owners of this Lara home had a shower screen that never closed properly and marks on the floor near the shower door. They wanted the damage fixed for good, and a bathroom built for two people getting ready at once. Works started on 10 March 2026 and ran about six weeks.
🛠️ Water damage behind the walls Once the room was stripped, the damage went further than the floor showed. We replaced the affected timber before any plaster or waterproofing went back on.
🪞 1500mm double vanity and oak shaving cabinet Twin basins under a 1500mm pill-shaped shaving cabinet in natural oak. We switched to a 360mm basin so it sits inside the benchtop with the tap hole.

🚪 10mm frameless sliding screen 2054mm high by 1200mm wide, so the door doesn’t clash with the vanity.
