Helping one client at a time, PB Builds embarked on a project at Separation Street, Bell Park, Victoria, with the aim of transforming a beautiful bathroom to foster independence and boost the client’s confidence.
The renovation was not just about aesthetics but also about creating a space that empowers the client, making daily activities more accessible and convenient.
Functional Modifications
To enhance functionality and accessibility, several modifications were made to the existing structure.
The doors to both the kitchen and bathroom were removed and replaced with wider cavity sliders, facilitating easier movement.
A non-slip vinyl floor was installed to ensure safety, along with an additional toilet and a level entry shower, catering to the client’s specific needs and preferences.
Storage Solutions and Aesthetic Upgrades
Understanding the importance of storage in maintaining an organised and clutter-free space, the client opted for a shaving cabinet and a tall boy storage unit, providing ample room for essentials.
The original vanity was replaced with a wall-hung basin, not only maximising floor space but also contributing to the modern and sleek look of the bathroom.
Every detail was meticulously addressed to combine practicality with style, resulting in a bathroom that is both functional and visually appealing.
